Well thank you for all the help i got it all working!!

Okay when i record into track 01, it is recording in stereo, with only wavs at top, bottom is empty therefore sound playback is only on right side. i want it to be one thing does anyone understand me>? im on 32 bit vista, cool edit pro, tascam us 122 interface, sterling st59 condenser mic

I got it to work but...... ok yay!! it works!! hoever now, in cool edit pro it is recording in stereo, but only on the right side. can u tell me how to switch it to mono so it records one line instead of a top and bottom?

Bating practice with my tascam anyone? i tried the download you sent me to, already had it, still didnt work. i looked in my programs and i dont see tascam anything, went i go to install you have the option of installing driver or removing drivers, before i try to install everytime im selecting...
