    Mackie CR1604VLZ troubles, please help.

    If you cannot fix it go with a Yamaha mixer. Stay away from the newer Mackie stuff as it is now made in China and the quality is not as good.

    Mackie 1604VLZ3

    The church I go to has a Mackie 1604VLZ and we are looking at setting up a sound system in our gym. I am looking at buying a Mackie1604VLZ3 using it in the auditorium and moving the 1604VLZ to the gym. Is the 1604VLZ3 a good mixer or should I look for something else? :confused:

    Behringer and the hits keep coming...

    I have a Behringer MDX2100 Composer that has worked for a little over 10 years only requiring re-soldering one of the switches to the circuit board early last year.

    Buy some Deoxit Fader Lube and use it on all the controls. Then buy some regular Deoxit for the switches and ribbon cables inside the mixer. Might also want to use it on the input and output jacks as well. I use one at the church I attend and except for the channel 13 OL LED being completely out...
