why would I spend tons of money on something that I'm not going to be doing professionaly. I am a hobbyist, so I don't plan on putting that much money into my equipment. Now instead of telling me to save my money, can someone tell me some decent equipment I can get for the price I mentioned...

I am using Cubase LE and trying to use Reason 4.0 as a slave with rewire. When I use Reason alone it works perfectly. But when I use rewire I cant hear anything. Also, sometime in Cubase the Reason devices do not show up in output, and when they do I still dont hear anything. Any ideas?
