Ok, I'll record in Audio 1 but when I make a new track I try to record in it and it doesn't work. How can I record in the next track?
Pretty simple question..
^^True.
You're going to need an authorization code. You can buy the software at digidesign.com. Pro Tools 7.4 full version cost about $75 to download and $97 to get it sent to you on disc. They'll give you an authorization code when you make the purchase.
I just bought 7.4 and I'm waiting on...
The reason I'm going to reformat is because the Reason I have is something my boy sent, so I ordered the actual program. I'm trying to be legit with this music stuff. Plus, I just need to reformat anyway.
I just bought the full version of 7.4, I'm going to reformat my PC and reinstall everything over. I just bought an external hard drive so I can save all my files. I think something wasn't installed properly. I didn't have both applications open at the same time. Like, I even imported a midi file...
I switched it back to my stock soundcard but I need the MBox to be my primary soundcard in order to use PT because I'm getting no sound from that either.
Yeah, Vista is weird and I'm getting frustrated. Everything was working the way I had it the first time but now I need to make the MBox 2 my primary soundcard and I can't figure this out.
This is my problem...
I'm using Vista, I have Pro Tools 7.4 and Reason 3.0 install. When playing back beats from Reason with the monitors hooked to the stock soundcard, I can hear everything I play. Now, I went out and bought some TRS cables so I can hook the monitors to the MBox 2 and now I...
I'm actually going to do that. I was testing out two different methods to see which would be easier.
1. Rewire Reason into PT set up an audio track(s), select the input on the track as the output of Reason & record the sound real-time (just like an MPC). But as I watched videos, it's seem hard...
Alright.
I use Reason and Pro Tools. I made the beat in Reason, exported it to a Midi File. I then imported it into Pro Tools. The Midi file appeared but when I went to playback, I had no sound but when I played the same beat in Reason I heard it. I had both application open at the time. I...
Has anyone messed with Pro Tools 7.4 with Vista just yet? Because I'm running Vista Home Premium and thinking about upgrading to Business so I can run Pro Tools but I need to make sure it hasn't had any issues first.
I didn't even know I could do that, because I was going to buy a Dell but ended up getting an HP. If I would've known that before I bought my PC I would've gotten it. I'm mad about that now. And I'm really not trying to buy a new PC.
When I went to Guitar Center a few days ago they said that MOTU and RME are compatible with Vista. So was M-Audio interfaces but they released a Beta Driver and that's nothing but a test driver so I'm not messing with that.
As for switching from Vista to XP, it's going to cost because I've...
I know it's unstable but you pretty much can't do anything if you already have a PC that came with Vista Home Premium. I'm not trying to save money again just to get a Mac so I can make music because that's moving backwards. That's why I was just trying my hardest to just make things work right...
