alrighty smart guys, then why are they used to connect heads to cabs?

I just thought of something, what if I rip out the pcb guts of my krank jr, and use the chassis and transformers it'd be viable option? I mean all I would need to do is find a circuit that matches up with everything...

you could always get a vox head of some kind and use the cab of your valvetronix for it. cutting a 1/4" guitar cable in half and getting handy whatchimacallits from radio shack will make it painless.

I like the extra jumbo fretts on the ESPs... makes it more fun to play, especially if you put fat bitches on there and downtune.

a good jackson has that dichotomy! wicked neck, and good sound, but the headstock! ahaha a friend of mine has the jezebel with the transparent black flame... plays good and sounds good!

The LC is in similar price range to the VC yes? Rugged amps? Which one has better head room between the two or at least a personal opionion on each.

Soo I have the tube chassis of an old hammond organ, its got 3 el 84s, a 5y3 gt rec and 1 12 ax7... if I were to repurpose this into a guitar amp would it be advised to basically throw away the circuit board, transformers and the tube connectors/plug-ins? i'm going to have to buy knobs...

since I last posted I acquired a 50ies-60ies japanese mahoganny baritone ukelele from value village for 9 bucks. and a fender 5 string banjo :D I've been eyeing up a epiphone sg special though... p90ies nomnomnom

i used dollar store aluminum foil and super glue and a piece of the super glue packaging to spread it underneath the foil... wasn't that much of a pain in the ass... it worked and I only spent $2.32 cad

pedals: Boss OD, BD3, DS1/2, Tech 21(anything from them is pretty good), and there's many more... goto a music store that has a blues jr and play around.

I've gotten some experience with using a few stomp boxes lately... even a wah! hah I really like using my Tech 21 boost reverb on the mics when I'm not using it for my guitar, the boost is handy and you can mess around with the feedback and sustain and adds a nice distorted flavour, we usually...

jack white usually plays through fender combos like the twin reverb n' such. i heard he uses the digitech whammy which has a bunch of options like octave stuff so that with the cranked fender probably gives it that tone, but who knows what else i've only seen them live once.
