dude, your snare sounds good ...move on ;)

I'll reiterate that the room mic, say 3 feet or so above the snare will make up a good portion of that kickass snare sound your after. A 57 and a good room mic in a good room should get excellent results ...just make sure the drummer hits the snare well ;)

...in gog format for all you drumagog users. All hard hits from a new brass Mapex Black Panther 14X5.5. It's a medium tuning (med on top, low on bottom for a that nice little pitch bump that sits nice in the mix). This should fit in the mix with little to no EQ or compression. Let me know what...

Is it version 4.09? I think it has to be the same exact version. It's a free update BTW. As far as tom samples, yes, I'm working on a very comprehensive library right now of lots of snares, kicks, toms and maybe cymbals. I'll keep you all in the know about it when I'm done. I have 9 more snares...

what version of drumagog do you have?

weird? You can always create your own gog and manually load the files in. I'll check and see if there are any issues when I get to the studio. E.
