when a bather steps into the tub, the volume of the bather is combined with the volume of the solvent to produce a new level...
... what if the solvent dissolves the bather somewhat? Does that increase headroom?
I recall your sentiments on audio finance... have to say I agree that if quality is the goal than it always pays to save up for something really good.
It sounds like you're hinting that a TDM Mac PT plugin is the only way to approach, say a $5000 Tube Tech, but Waves 'Native' could perhaps...
thanks Keith.
I guess I am afraid of the old "no free lunch/ you get what you paid for" syndrome. Most Saw Plugins run at about $150, whereas a good EQ box I figure runs in the thousands.

I am trying to repair a recording made of a live musical show for a theater group I am in, in NYC. It done about a year ago(not by me). It was of a Gilbert and Sullivan show, Pinafore, and included large pit orchestra and solo vocals and chorus. The recording was done digitally to...
*gloat* I am very proud of this

Well kiss my britches!!!
They let me upgrade to SawStudio!! I got the Lite version. My system is totally bitchin' now!! Thanks for the links Angie! Now I can die a happy man.
I got RME, and I think it is one of the best for PC, but you need an external converter (which, surprisingly, is actually a feature cause you end up with better, noise - free audio).
Thanks Angie
I'll drop you a mail. I was wondering about a user forum. BTW, what do you think of the SawPro standard plugins? I briefly checked out the Varipitch that comes with SawPro, and the Reverberator, which I got seperately (I think it was around $40). My initial impressions were...
wow. after a year of agonizing over what system to upgrade my home recording setup with, I finally settle on getting 'SawStudio' softtware. So, I buy and build a PC, get the soundcard I wanted, get a nice converter and ... voila... IQS goes out of business. No more SawStudio!
Needless to...

I don't really know too much about the Roland unit. Probably one of these other smart guys like Bruce could better advise you. If you want to be sure you could always play my game: buy it from a place like Sam Ash that has a money back return policy, then do an A-B with your unit's...
Hey guys-- wow these posts don't die?! Sorry it took so long to get back. The PCM 91 is awesome and so is the Space Echo (I will check the model number when I get home). Everything has plusses and minuses. The plusses on the Lex is the sound. Minus is price. The Space Echo sounds real...
