The kick doesn't really sound like a kick in that clip. Everything else sounds pretty good though to me. I'm not a serious drummer but I feel that the kick is really lacking power.

Yeah the Behringer quality topic really is annoying. Ive had my Behringer UB2222 mixer for 4 years and I havent had a single problem with it (knock on wood).

Whats wrong with a Peavey. The peavey 5150 is a great amp.

You could look for a used Peavey 5150 combo. They go for around that price range.

What I like to do is to copy the original drum tracks and place them on new separate tracks and add quite a bit of reverb to one version of those tracks and leave the others just completely dry. Ive got a MXL 990 Condenser mic and I actually really like it. Ive had it for 2 years or so with no problems whatsoever. It works great for recording acoustic guitar and for vocals. For the price I'd really recommend it.

You can actually buy printable CD's if your printer has the capability to print on CD's. I think Zzounds sells them online for a pack of 100 its like 35 dollars or something like that. Thats what my band is planning on doing when we get done recording our CD.

Yeah the problem is not your mixing but rather your tracking. The saying "crap in equals crap out" applies in recording as well. Your guitar tone sounds very thin. Ive got a Santa Rosa Macbook running Logic 7.2 on OSX and its very stable. Logic has never froze or even slowed down for me, and I currently only have 1 gb of ram installed. It was 1200 USD so I dont know how much that is to you but it was well worth it in my opinion.

I just use RCA outputs for mine because I only record guitar, vocals, and bass at my place. You would need a firewire interface something like a Presonus FirePod or a Alesis io|26 for cheaper solutions. There are more out there that are more expensive but those two would work fine for recording...

Yeah I have the same interface and mine works perfectly. Before I got Logic I used Adobe Audition and it worked fine I just had to switch the input from the wave in to USB Audio Codec and it worked like a charm. So just make sure your channels are switched to the USB codec. You have to do that...

On your mixer make sure that you have all of the channels set to be sent to the main mix by pressing down the "main" button to the right of each fader. Then after that go to the right side of the mix under the effects and you will see a box with 3 buttons. It should be labeled in bold "Source"...

You have to load the plugin in a audio program like cubase. You have to load a vst and then find where you installed EZ Drummer and then it should start the plugin and then you enter your serial number and then you should be set.
