    EVH Wolfgang

Has anyone here taken one of these for a test drive yet? An article in a recent issue of Guitar World makes them appear to be pretty sweet, but the MSRP is higher than I would have expected (low 3's). Any feedback appreciated. Thx. (Sorry if this has already been covered here.)

    How's your internal metronome?

Internally my timing is usually after my morning coffee, or with too many beers.

Make sure your effects destination is set to "input" when tracking if you want the effect to record.

    Boss BR1180 I need help!!!

This may sound crazy. Try taking your 1/4 inch and sliding it in and out of the input jack on the BR a couple times. There seems to be a glitch with the BR1180 where the signal can get cut off when removing the 1/4 inch cable form the machine. This drove me nuts for weeks before I solved it...

    Recording Dry

I'm surprised that didn't work. That is how it's done on the BR1180. What does your manual say?

Keeping a Floyd Rose in tune?

I'll third the stretching advice. That is almost certainly your problem. What I do is string all 6, then before locking down, give em all several big bends. Bend, re-tune, bend, retune, repeat until they hold their tune, and then (and only then) lock it down. Mine keeps its tune very well...

    Lukather Instructional DVD

Review I've now had a chance to view the DVD. On pure entertainment value, I'd give it a 9 / 10, but as a tutorial it's maybe a 7 /10. He doesn't really get into theory as much as I'd hoped. It's basically, "Here's a lick from our 4th album. . . . Now I'll play it slowly." It comes with a...

Exactly. I've listened to him in conversation about gear, career, etc., and he is a good communicator.

    Lukather Instructional DVD

First, my disclaimer: I'm not big on learning guitar from instructional videos. But, I'm tempted to purchase the Lukather DVD and looking for feeback here from anyone who's seen it. I'm not so much interested in picking technique, gear, or specific tunes. I want to understand what he's doing...

    Wilkinson Tremolo's

Thanks Thanks for the input. I'm looking at another Valley Arts Custom Pro. It would be a non-locking trem.
