Yeah!!! I might try that block fish...i think i downloaded it a while ago and never installed it... I thought you really wanted to do thin eq on vocals....when im eqing for like parts or instruments on the instrumental to not "collide" with the same freq's as the vox i do really thin eqing on...

Running everything like this....studio projects b1--->m-audio firewire solo--->Cubase SX3 so most likely is the mic/pre in terms of the fatter sound...could i do anything about the fatter side of it...plugs...eq???? cuz i really understand what you are saying!
