Oh yeah... thanks very much for the suggestions! I`m really inclined to get that combo of 500 series, but i think just because that way i can expand my rack with good pres and for a reasonable price as you said... but it`s sad to buy a thing that fits 11 modules and just 2 inside lol! Now i...
Hummm... more money! lol! Damn... it`s infinite!
I have a "philosophical" question about the use of that gear... because i`m a begginer, and i feel like, for home-recording, but with a good HI-END level, that kind of gear is too much... isn`t it?! To start from the very begin, wouldn`t...
I just wanna read some suggestions about what to buy with 1500 bucks... I need a pair of OH`s and a Vocal mic... I was wondering about a pair of KM184 and a AT4050... Too expensive for me, just a begginer...
Listening some samples, I liked the AT4050... sounds solid, and very clear and...
if i use eq`s, compressors and pre-amps on the lunchbox, i will have to make up the connections from the pre`s to the eqs and comps?! or it`ll link automatically?! i found that the a-design one`s have that feature, to link auto... but i couldn`t find that info about the OSAs and APIs box...

i liked the idea... but still not 100% sure about this... first because i would like to have 2 equal channels to stereo use...
maybe it`d be great to buy a pair of MP1-A or MP1-C, but i really don`t know if it wouldnt be better to buy a stereo pre-amp like the S20, or the ATC-2 or even another...
Oh god... i`m talking about 1200, 1500... and that way, to do a 2-channel module, i`d spend about 2000... each OSA channel costs aprox U$700,00... and the rack more U$500,00... but i saw thats a really good way... and i noticed how hard is to find the OSA products on online stores (nor samash...
God damn it... after a lil bit of search, i got hundreds of "Studio Headphones", but i cant figure out which one are the best for monitoring... i mean, less than $300...
i found something about the AKG K271S, Sony MDR 7509HD, Sennheiser HD25, HD580... is that way?!

hummm...
so what would be better for O\H`s?! two clean mic-pres or two "colored" joemeek channels?! i want 3 channels... thats one of the points... but it would be good to have a two channel that sounds exactly the same to use with mic pairs, isn`t it?
now i thought about getting a twinQ and a...
I have a serious question about this... because i`m not sure about the MOTU 8PRE mic pre-amps to record drum overheads and vocals... so i`m thinking about getting 2x Grace 101 or a JoeMeek TwinQ, and i know the first would force me to use only digital effects and the second option would give me...
i am searching for a matched pair that really works good... and as i know, neumann`s mics are very good and sounds really pro. the SE3`s sounds clear and open like the 184`s?!
The MOTU`s 8PRE mic pre`s are good enough to handle a pair of neumanns or it would be too much for them?!
when using a channel strip, that dont have adat, it`ll go to the interface`s pre, right? so, does the 8PRE have a REAL bypass? And it have the same 828MKII pre`s?!

Hi ppl
I found that the diifference between Neumann KM183, 184 and 185 it`s just the capsule, right?!
So, for OH and acoustic guitar mic, wich one would fit?!
it would be a good choice the AKG Drum Package (2x C418 and a D112)???? at sweetwater, it would cost just few bucks more than a D112...
hello
my name is guilherme, from brazil, and reading some topics here, i got some questions about drum OH mics, specially about the Oktava`s M012. Do u guys have good results with a pair of M012`s as OH?! I mean, does it sound pro?!
I heard ppl saying that a pair of ATM450 sounds good too, and...
Go for a pair of 2 MXLV67G... That ones you can find for about U$99 each... So it fits right into the way you want to spend. I've always heard good things about that mic for that price! They are good to use as O/H's... Nice curve levels on a good LDC.
