my cover of "You Are" by Colton Dixon

That's an M-Audio Axiom 61. It's only a controller. The piano is a sampled piano -- Giant Piano I believe.

That's a good point on the transitions. I just don't use a lot of fades, usually. Thanks, man!

Thank you, dain! :) Yeah, perhaps the guitar was a bit over-compressed. Meh. It was a fun little project. :)

    Presonus Digimax LT (8 ch. preamp / ADAT ) - $215

Sounds good, guitarplayr82. And I'm going to ask that the buyer pay shipping. If you can pay 215, but not 15 more for shipping when my price is already 44% the price of the CHEAPEST price for a new one I could find online.. well..... I'm questioning whether I should sell it or not. I am...

    Presonus Digimax LT (8 ch. preamp / ADAT ) - $215

Come on guys, this is a steal. I'm selling a Presonus Digimax LT for $215. Everything works excellently. Some "rack rash" shown in the picture below: [well more like rash from the larger screws I had to use for my DIY rackmount build (accidentally used non-standard rack-size nuts)] Hit me...

High noise in audio sent OUT from Allen & Heath to laptop mic port

Maybe I should just pick up a simple little USB interface, then. I bet that would solve the problem (well I hope so, anyway).

High noise in audio sent OUT from Allen & Heath to laptop mic port

Well there is an input and output jack on the laptop. Whether it's line or mic, I'm still having the same problem...

High noise in audio sent OUT from Allen & Heath to laptop mic port

I didn't have an audio interface with me to send the audio through, so I was limited to using the mic input jack. I suspected that could be the problem. I just didn't want to lug my 002 with me (and thus also my desktop computer).

High noise in audio sent OUT from Allen & Heath to laptop mic port

Hi all, I'm trying to record audio out of an Allen & Heath mixer and into a laptop mic port. I get this very obnoxious noise in the audio, which appears as soon as any device is plugged into an output on the console, whether it be the 2 TRK output or a direct out on a channel or any other...

Why dont my vocals show up at my other studio????

Try what Steen suggested. That should solve it. They're working great! I just used them for an EP for a folk group! I think I noticed back when I was building them that they seemed to be phase-reversed. So I just stick a trim on each track and flip the phase, but not a big deal! Might take...

    Video camera recommendations?

You may want to also consider DSLRs for HD video work. I'm into photography so a nice DSLR is the perfect match for me. I have the newest Canon Rebel that is out right now (Canon T3i). The Canon T1i, T2i, and T3i all shoot HD (1080p or 720p). I know that the T2i and T3i can do 60 fps but only...
