when you turn the volume down on the trinity on the first midi channel the full volume will be turned down on the JV what you want to do is go ahead and manually turn back up the volume on the jv....simple as that.....

hey the mpc3000 has the smpty (you know what I mean) the effects board built in it has the 8 outputs build in I think the digital spdif and 2 midi ins and 4 out the 2000xl is plain and your almost spending the same amount once you add all the upgrades....but you won't have the four midi outs...

eh.... there's a seq button on the trinity....push that button....the screen should cange...look at the scree and you will see 127 all the way accross the bottom of the screen those are your volumes for midi chanel 1 - 8 click the one on the far left (midi channel one) and move the slider bar...

turn the volume down on that midi chanell....or if your setup is like mine just turn the volume down on midi cannel one....on your trinity

hey depends on what you want to do....I've been using the mpc2000xl for about a year now...and I figure if I was to get the asr I would still use the MPC as the sequencer/drum machine and use the asr like a sound module

hey I know what your talking about....I've been doing alot of work here in St. Louis with alot of different artist rap/r&b most rappers and singers think they can get by with nothing because all they use is a pen and pad while the producer/ enginner spends all the time making them sound...

hey from what I remember the djx series only has one usable midi chanel....well 2 midi 10 for drums and 1-16 can only use one patch from the djx

IMO it more of a sound module than anything else...well with pads and a sequencer...but skip the last part...forget saving anything I'ma do everything on my mpc... I know this goes against everything in my other post but oh well
