sorry, I should have been more specific. When I say skip back, I mean, for example, half way through a chorus, the song goes back half way through the previous verse and continues. I'm just playing the .wav file on my hard drive after recording, so that rules out any problems with the writer...

Sorry, forgot to mention I'm recording with Soundforge XP

I've been trying to record some cassettes to my PC so I can burn them to cd. I have a P3 700, 128meg Ram and a SB Live card. Each time I record a song and play it back, the song seems to skip back 5 secs or so sometimes. Can anyone help?
