yeah i know this thing isnt very good, but im using a laptop so i cant put a sound card in. is there any other option for a laptop? i dont have a firewire port either.

ok i posted this in the newbie section, but i think this is a bettre place, i have an alesis multimix 8 usb, and cubase LE. when i plug in the mixer into my computer cubase wont even pickup the signal. im pretty sure i installed the drivers and everything, and i think it works through another...

um ok actully its not even taking a signal in at all from the mixer. i see the menu where it has one or two or both if stereo, but the only soung coming in is the little microphone built into my computer.

i have an alesis multimix 8 usb thats running (usb obviously) into my laptop, and im using cubase LE, and i cant get the seperate channels of the mixer to be seperate channels on the software. im pretty sure im supposed to be able to do this but if not then im stupid. but supposing i can why is...
