I know if I use a USB Hub I can tweak the sounds in the sound modules I'll have because it's the only way to access the software that comes with them. But I don't want the cables to be all over the place. But yet I want to go thru MIDI because it's a lot easier I think.
What do y'all think...
To be honest, I wasn't even thinking at the time that they were two different products. I was thinking they probably had some of the name sounds just like the MS2000B and MicroKorg.
See, I really just need to know which has more sounds and things like that. But I think I might get the ES Rack because I won't need the sequencer because I can sequence in the MPC2000XL and I can sample in it also. I'll just use the Keystation 88es as a set of keys.
They're real good. A lot of people place them in the same catagory with the ASP8s and HR824s. A lot of artist use them like Missy, Usher and others. I've tested them out and loved them. You can play them as loud as you want and to be honest I'm thinking about getting some.
I decided that I'll just go with the Mackie 1604-VLZ Pro. For a lot of reason, not because of the Mic lines because I won't need them with what I'm doing.
Is there any way that I can hook up a MPC2000XL, Motif ES Rack, Fantom XR, and Radium61 without a MIDI interface?
I know that the Radium61 has 2 Midi outs and the MPC has 2 midi ins and outs. I could take the Radium61 out and put it in the MPC midi in. Take the midi out on the MPC and put it in...
Yes, it's a stereo line mixer...
Only thing that's going to be going through it is production equipment
Motif ES Rack
Fantom XR
MPC2000XL
Clavia Nord Lead 2X
Korg MS2000BR
Korg Triton Rack
So, y'all don't think a stereo line mixer is needed? Because I was told I would need a lot of stereo...
This just helped me out on which one I need to get because with me it was either the Triton Rack or Extreme. I really want to go for the Rack because it won't take up much space and I can use it with the Keystation 88es.
I know I won't need the mic inputs. I'm saying I heard it best fits my needs with what I'm trying to do.
As for the accurate sound thing, not all mixers will give out good quality. Not saying that the Mackie won't but I know it's a good mixer because I know a few friends with it. But I was also...
I need a mixer for my equipment but I just don’t know which is better…
Mackie 1604-VLZ Pro (Surface Mixer)
Rane SM-82 (Rackmountable Mixer)
I heard it’s best to go with the SM-82 because it has more stereo lines than the 1604-VLZ Pro. Plus, people think it’s best for me to just mix everything...
The Triton Rack?
I was thinking about getting this rack. The sounds are good and I can save money by getting it and not the Triton Studio. But there's a problem...
People are saying I shouldn't get it because I can only use 2 expansion slots at a time.
Now, is that actually a big problem?
I...
Do I really need a Midi Interface?
I've seen and read about setups that people have and a lot of them don't have midi interfaces. It had me confused because I was told that I need one but yet I see people without one. Can someone tell me about this please?
Wow, dang I was thinking GC could try to find it because they always ordering things for me. Honestly, I don't trust ebay so I guess I won't be getting that Juno-106. I'll just do like I was going to do and get the Fantom XR and V-Synth XT.
