Behringer Tube Ultragain Mic 200

I have read up on come preamps, and some people are saying that the are staticy stock, but if you buy a NOS Tube for it, the quality can change drastically. My preamp is staticy. How would I buy a new tube for it to try to change the quality? I am not quite sure what this means.

Haha, Ive been there for a while now. I wish I would have known this before the purchase. :( Is there anything that I should buy instead of this that wouldnt be of too much money?

I am using a Behringer Tube Ultragain Mic 200 I usually have the gain turned all the way down, and the Output turned about 1/3 of the way. How should these be turned? When I turn them too high I get a lot of static, but I want my vocals to be louder and fuller. If anyone knows, please tell me.

I always pick up static and unwanted noise when I try to record my vocals. I want to be able to turn up my Output so it's at a level that sounds good, but everytime I turn it up, theres a bunch of static. Does anyone know what I can try?
