Can anyone suggest some compressor settings to even out an inconsistent snare track? In the past, :confused: I've always used automation but I'm looking for a quicker way to do this.

Well, I've heard of guys mixing into a compressor on the master buss and having good luck with it. Much less compression on individual tracks and the ability to get the mix sounding good, quicker. Just wondering if anyone has tried the same approach but using a limiter. It's worth a try. At...
