An esoteric approach to writing a song

Given *any* sequence of notes.... box standard variations are the inversion, retrograde, and retrograde-inversion. Adding in the original line (if you wrote that one...) makes four. All are now "related" and all are variations on a single theme or motif. anything partially or fully retrgrade...

    Seeing if this works...

Trying to use YooToob as my delivery mechanism to let people hear my music files... the "video" is just watching the generic frequency response. Using the video as a vehicle.

well, never mind then. when I said I wanted to "get people to listen to my music"? I meant people online, like here, other musicians... I didn;t mean "getting noticed" and getting a record deal. I was just trying to learn to create and edit with A/V software. take any random friend IRL... 1)...

I decided to make "end credits" to a movie...

I decided I wanted to make "end credits" to a movie. https://www10.zippyshare.com/v/jieU7aAe/file.html I re-did the entire end credits to the movie "shooter". Originally? they used Otis Redding's "nasty letter" as the end credits music... so? Naturally... I was editing video and audio, so...

Every Little Beat of my Heart

nice, soft, adult contemporary feel vocals are very competent. not over processed, over compressed, over anythinged... I like it. nice enunciations on the vocals. I like the slight jazzy influence. vocals are mixed front and center, right up front. very clear. good job!

How challenging can a collaboration with an artist be?

I didnt start out wanting to BE classical... I just learned that the classical *influence* was what separated the bands I liked from others... ELO, moody blues... even early Queensryche, you can *hear* that progressive=classical "slashing and tearing, my way thru the gate... a towering...

How challenging can a collaboration with an artist be?

as far as just collaborating, with collab being... simply... two home amateur musicians trying to work together? It can be almost impossible. My story on it... singers opinions...?

I'm not a singer, at ALL, I just write music (normally) I'm trying to write lyrics, because i ran across a young lady singer that really sounds sorta like Sarah Brightman a little... her parents (both music pros) burned her out on music when younger... so, she's TRAINED, but... not doing...
