i think you could be buying Adesigns or sebatron preamp . One of these type of valve preamplifiers has different color if you need it.
the grace preamp is very clean with no color but this could be good for acoustic guitars .
the deep switch pushes the lower frequencies a bit more. more warm .
try arrange some samples but it will not make much difference on an mp3
over the internet. you have to record with this thing there. you can feel the differance straight away.
i am having the oppotunity to record some tribal dance and rythim instrumentaton. i have all the microphones covered except for the conga .
can anyone recommend a suitable microphone for conga that will be general enough to use for other percussion as well?
