    Dumb Mac question

It will not transfer the wavs because there is no equivalent on the iphone. You sync with itunes or apple music for music files. There is no music player on the iphone aside from itunes/apple music. U cannot send people music from itunes/apple music. It’s locked down so u cannot share music u...

    Dumb Mac question

That’s really a job for apple music...Syncing with the iPhone. Did u drag and drop those wavs to the icloud drive folder on the mac mini?

    Dumb Mac question

Listen to this ? my OS is quite old. I don’t have apple music things may have changed a lot since I last upgraded. I didn’t know u could upload from garageband...I’ve not used it much.

    Dumb Mac question

Yea. This is apple. I think they get more right than wrong though. I’d only go back to pc to play games. I don’t miss my Windows days...

    Dumb Mac question

Oh yea that’s what they do. No need to hook them up physically. Unless u use itunes someday. Even that can be done over wifi i think...i may have seen that option somewhere. For example i like using notes and having it linked to the cloud. As soon as any device connects to the internet...

    Dumb Mac question

Yea it should work this way. It’s a continual updating of the files in the cloud. I can’t say for certain because files specifically I’ve not consciously tested out. Things like my notes and pages work. They stay synced. What do you mean?

    Dumb Mac question

I THINK it is being connected to the internet in general like, if i were to send u a PDF while u were out and u saved it in your files using ur phone, when u got home and fired up the mac mini and opened the icloud drive, it should be there.

    Dumb Mac question

Haha I’m a logic user so I’m stuck with it. Don’t feel like building a hackintosh and I’ve found workarounds since leaving the world or pc/apple. I still hear u though!

    Dumb Mac question

Simple version just so you can get doing what you need to: yea. Except you don’t sync ur phone to the mac mini it does it automatically over the internet. Mac mini connected to router, iPhone connected via wifi and it just does it itself. Yep to play the file. * when u connect ur iphone to ur...

    Dumb Mac question

Nothing will be there until moved there. If u were on ur mac mini and u had these wavs there, you could drag them into the icloud. Probably called iCloud drive on the mac mini. Choose A folder to make it easier to find like downloads....allow it to sync (automatically) and you’d be able to see...

    Dumb Mac question

The only places I know of to store wav files is in iTunes or in the cloud, which is called files on the iphone. It doesn't allow the open storage thing android does. It's one of the downsides but it can be managed.

How to promote the sale of bass lines and loops

Thanks for this tip. As of today I have added a discount code for three of the packages on the site. I have added them nice and high on the landing page to so when people get there, their eyes should just land on it.

Feedback on a song in progress

Responding to the updated version: The guitar in the left feels like it is fighting the vocal. I'd like to hear more vocal on that part of the track (1st verse) Same for the guitar that comes in on the right. It's like a sausagefest hehe I joke man, I know it's your baby. I respect that. I...

Cambridge Multitrack Library - Free Downloads

This is a super resource. I read the book of the guy behind it, mixing secrets for the small studio - Mike Senior. Really good book. More like a reference book if you are in a jam when mixing. Or a book you revisit every 6 months. SO much info and techniques in there. Telefunkem do a similar...

Would switching from a hypercardioid shotgun to a cardioid pencil mic help reduce room reverb/noise?

I used a Rhodes NT2 (not the Nt2a) mic on this recording. You can see the room is quite large, and I have high-ish ceilings. Floor is floor boards and untreated. Other than that huge piece of material behind me, there is no other treatment on the walls themselves, just some bass traps in the...

How to promote the sale of bass lines and loops

I understand it as a ‘I’m getting into this thing’ approach and as a way to get their toes wet (even if they don’t know it yet) but long term, I think it’s natural for them to branch out into using more theory, musicians or becoming one themselves. However I can only speak for myself and how I...

How to promote the sale of bass lines and loops

Thanks man. I joined a bunch of forums as well as illmusiz...just waiting for the admin to approve that account. It's good getting this feedback though. I've not spoken to many people about the idea - even less who are musically orientated. I am enjoying rolling it around in my head again.

How to promote the sale of bass lines and loops

These are amazing statistics. Makes me feel like if a song about wet pussy can sell, bass loops can sell too haha I saw a short video where Eddie Murphy is saying to keep at your dream until it comes true. He said something like, just think, someone thought Sharknado (movie) was a good idea and...
