I have a song on Reaper. It has 4 tracks (Stl Guit, Drum, Vocals & Guitar) the mistake I made originally, was inserting a Pedal Steel Backup Track into a song about a Piano Man... I'm asking if this track can be done over...

Songs demos are just WORDS, with a suggested melody... If someone likes the song, no telling what they'll change it into... I'm 81 & OLD SCHOOL is all I know & LOVE... the new CRAP Is Country RAP & I don't listen to that garbage. It's just a rhymy wordy meter, with no real story line & loud...

I have been able to modify a few. Since I'm not familiar with REAPER, I may just be screwing them up, but I've modified a few ... I posted two of them... Thanks for asking.!

Well, I got one started & here it is. It sounds OK & the Steel Player is to be commended, but the Composer (me) went to sleep at the wheel, when I didn't request the back up instrument, to be a Piano... That's the next procedure for this song..... wish me luck. NOTE, this is a true story.!

I was gonna post a couple songs, but they are not MP3s yet & that isn't something I know how to do... Later.!

Never FEAR my little Munchkins, you're all gonna get an ear full. I just learned how to power up Reaper, mixing a Song or making a CD, is a few steps down the road from me. I can barely spell REAPER, much less work any buttons...

Well Folks, I wanna say that Mr. Tom Hicks is a Card Carrying, Genuine, Dyed-In-The-Wool, Gentleman.... I Can't thank him enough, for the great job he's done... I will get to enjoy learning Reaper & maybe get some of these Classic Country Tunes on You Tube, for all the word to enjoy.... maybe...

It's been suggested to me, that I use Reaper... Since what I know about any DAW is NOTHING, it may just as well be a great place to start. If I have a song in reaper, can I play it & listen to what needs changed or deleted...? Make volume changes & can it be downloaded as a song & sent to be...

It took me a few days to get all the material sorted. Mr. Hicks will be starting up soon...

The tracks are already digital, they just need transferring to another format, so someone can modify what's there... Mr. Hicks is gonna give that a try. After he & I have squeezed what we can, from most of the songs, then I'll be looking for someone to do some re-recording....

Thanks for the Input, I won't look for your handle on the YouTube Posts... Just for your information, that's why I wrote some of mine, most Country is a tune meant for dancing, & their stories are full of holes, but at least it isn't LOUD R& R or RAP... My songs have stories, some are mine..

One more thing... since finding someone to pitch my songs to, is questionable, what do youse guys think about putting these songs on Video & placing the Vid's on You Tube....?? That will tell the tale & also seal the deal, on who owns them, my copyright & my YouTube Videos... Whaddaya Thimk..?

Yeah, I think they are very impressed with themselves & acting like they can do no wrong, but when I went bye... they were twiddling their thumbs... Didn't impress me... & their prices are through the roof.
