Does anyone know what setting the Delta 1010 should be set at in the router section (monitor mixer or wave out 1/2) so I can record and listen to the recording through headphones? Where do i put the phones in the 1010 and set it up to work?
I have the 2 Studio monitors setup up so I can listen...
M-audio has awesome recording gear.
If you are in Canada you can get awesome pricing if you call www.silicondirect.com, they usually beat pricing if you make a call. I picked a pair of BX8 monitors from M-audio and they sound awesome and dont break the bank.
Nice midi controllers too...
Hi...The cables that I bought to use on my monitors say "high grade, low noise microphone cable" on them.
Do i have to worry about anyhing or is shielding an issue? How do I even know if it has shielding?
They are XLR to 1/4.
I dont have that "1" button option there, I had to right click on the track then found it. I chose the mute option but I can still hear myself through the speakers though.
I'm trying out Vegas and I can hear myself through the monitors when I'm recording an audio track . How do I turn this monitoring off so it just records without the instant playback?
I plugged in my Alese qs6 keyboard directly to my delta 1010 and the signal I get is kinda weak on the recording software. It sounds ok to me but should I try to make it hotter ? The signal is barely showing up on the software meter.
how do I make it hotter?
I read many reviews saying that ntrack was only $39 then I saw more reviews saying $69 then $75.00 on the ntrack website. They also had the 24 bit version.
After I converted it to canadian.. it was over a hundred bucks.
Is there a cheaper website to buy the reg for the 24 bit version...
I got a delta 1010 and it came with the ableton LIVe 2.0 software on the CD.
It requires a key when I install it .... I can't find it.
My only other option is to run in demo mode.(no saving)
Does anyone know if the key is provided with the delta 1010 purchase or if it's just a demo?
Bx-8's are awesome.
I just picked up the bx8's at www.silicondirect.com in Canada and heard them in awe. For 4 hours last night i listened to old cd's and heard tonnes of stuff I never new was there.
.....but this only occured on original CD's not on MP3's ... I heard percusssive sounds...
balanced guitar patch cable for these ?
Thanks for the links.
I have the M-audio BX-8 active monitors. Can I use balanced guitar patch cable for these for optimal sound quality or are there specific cables used for active monitors?
