Don't worry I play on a kit that is known as a piece of crap. It's made by Rhythm Art. It sucks right now. Notice I said "right now". I'm telling you man, if you put some good heads on it and tune it PROPERLY, it won't be bad at all. Don't go a step further until you read the Drum Tuning...

In Sonar, for each track there is an audio level bar. I realize that when it hits the RED, it's clipping. But if I record every track to the max, or just under the red, then the tracks get cluttered. About what level should I have each track recording in at???
