    shopping for drum machine

I use the Boss Dr 770. Its got some cool sounding kits, and a good range og on board patterns. Touch sensitive pads and all the usual midi connections etc. It doesn't have seperate outs for each drum though.

I guess the obvious answer to that particular weight problem is to cut it in half! Thats what my friend would have done anyway!!

    How heavy is your guitar?

All I know is that my guitars are HEAAAAAAAAAAAAVY!! If you have a heavy axe get a wider strap, it can help spread the load. I had a friend once with an SG copy guitar that was really heavy. In order to lighten the load he drilled hundreds of holes through it!!

Advice required what should I buy?

At the end of the day everything comes down to cash. You could go spend it all on the more expensive units but if you haven't got any money for a mic how will you record anything. You gotta start somewhere so I cant see much wrong with your thinking. A really good mic will always be worth...

Advice required what should I buy?

Ok here is my view... If you are sure you will stick at this recording lark then I suggest you research well and get the best gear you can afford. I say this because the resale value of equipment often doesn't hold up well as technology advances. I statrted with a Roland VS840 at he time I...
