    Which frog is green? The mic is a SM58 placed 12" from the frogs, recorded dry, no EQ. I noticed that my MP3 encoder killed some of the high end, but c'est la vie.

    I don't have n-tracks but I suspect if your system has trouble with that, you might have trouble with Vegas. I suggest trying the downloadable Vegas demo.

    In California, local community college = extension of high school Usually. There are some exceptions. BTW, there used to be a film scoring board at www.northernsounds.com but it disappeared. Maybe you can ask them on their general board.
