as you can tell i don't know everything about this myself as i started the post. but as far as i'm aware the DELTA 1010 and the ECHO LAYLA come with an ADAT soundcard (and maybe a software multitrack?) as they record about 8 simultaneous tracks. as i said i'm a noob so i might not be 100% right

no its starting to make sense cheers guys. so once the sound has got to the ADAT souncard recorded onto it ,could i then send the data back thru the interface to a mixing desk add effects and stuff via the inserts take a digitial or line out and send that to an stand alone cd recorder?
