so update: i was able to send mtc from logic to the 688 via MIDI, but can’t figure out how to receive it back from the device.

i don’t understand how i’d use a USB MIDI interface to slave logic. can logic receive MTC from a midi cable? i just have a simple mio 1-in/1-out usb to midi.

thanks for the info! yeah ive read through that part of the manual. I'm trying to avoid getting a midiizer as theyre pretty pricey at the moment. I don't think the JL Cooper would work for slaving the 688, as the 688 can only control external MIDI and not the other way around (I could be wrong).
