Trendy! Why who records on cassette... it was never a thing.. well not in England.. Why would you choose to record on cassette.?

Well it does not explain why you would record on cassette.. would be interesting to hear your view.

Why would you ever want to record on cassette still in this day and age? I have rare recording of my band that I put up here from the eighties that was recorded live to cassette, but would never wish to record that way again.

You can overdub anything but the problems may occure because you have to replicate it in time. If you can play the hi hats in time go for it. As for vsts hi hats I would think that is a problem as you will not get the wo and flutter of a live player, it will be precise and I am taking it you...

I am in the same position, my bass player died. No way on earth I can replicate what he did....But if you have a video I suggest you slow it down super slow to try and catch the chords. Best of luck.

Nice chorus/break, very melodic 70s. Would sound cool with a vocal line on there to bring it all to life. Try writing another small section to keep it interesting and flowing.

Thanks Rob, I have actually been mixing the midi tracks like you say, but my friend has Cubase 10 and all his tracks come up with midi and audio as standard. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. Thanks for putting me right.

Sorry to sound a bit air head, but I have recorded my digital tracks in Ableton from plugins. I would like to do a good mix but I am not sure if I am supposed to mix the digital tracks or make a audio copies of each track and be mixing those to export? Thanks.
