It seems a Multiband limiter can be a De esser by limiting or compressing the high frequencies. Am I right about that? Perhaps a De esser focuses more tightly than a multiband. Any thoughts?

I seem to get the best control by placing my limiter (Stealth IK Mult) at the end of a chain rather than at the front. Seems I can then push, compress a bit more than the other way around. I'm so new to this however and am thinking perhaps I'm doing it in a way that actually hinders. My...
