Shana Negotiator hit the nail right on the head answering your question. I had the same problem with BR-8,pickup to close to the zip drive. I should have read the manual a little closer it warns about that. Digital recording is all new to me. Your right about one thing ,this is a great SITE.

DLewis Iam not sure about what your saying but i'll take a stab at it.What you wanted was vocals on one track and guitar on another track. If thats the case, you would need to have the mixer channels panned hard left or right on the powered mixer.
