    More tracks... better?

I have to admit that I came from an analog background... and now, having a number of tracks only limited by RAM and computer capability, I am always tempted. Mind you it does have its advantages... My son has been playing for a year or so now, and has built the home studio in the back garden...

    2014 Daw Build.

No Question.... MAc out performs PC for digital recording.. it also out prices it. I am using an old PC running Studio 1 from presonus. It is doing everything I want it to do, recording up to 30 tracks... and does result in s alittle latency... however there is a workaround that simply lets...

I have been using studio 1 from Presonus. It seems to do most of what I want - although I do include reason and fruity loops depending on what I am recording. Most of my own stuff is done with keyboards which makes things very much easier, but my son is a guitarist, and we find Studio 1 is...

Which software you use to make audio recording

DM60 - I have tried recording in Ubuntu using studio. To be honest, when it was running correctly it was not too bad, but it does have a nasty habit of crashing at the wrong moment, (is there ever a good moment?) - There were major issues with latency too. Would be interesting to see what you...
