I decided im not gonna buy one. i know shure and other companies do this too. their pg27usb i bought was defective as hell out of the box. it was hilarious. so even bigger named brand mic companies are i believe the same joke. im not sure what to buy should probably just get a yeti again.

usb 2.0 and usb 3.0 will give the mic more power than a usb 1.0 port. make sure in your windows volume control for the mic its 1 im pretty sure thats what you meant you did already. your computer probably shouldnt be giving the mic that much gain lol
