    Magix Music Maker 2013???

    I use Music Maker with a MOTU Ultralite interface. I have no problem getting "pro" results. Switching to Samplitude will make no difference. Music Maker is more than enough for your needs. Focus on creating and don't worry about gear lust :)

    I'm a fan of MAGIX Music Maker but I dont want to bias you. I think like most things before buying it's important to try. Most DAW's have a free trial available, so check them out.
