Here comes the update.
I composed and recorded rest of the track. Some things may just don't fit in there. Telling me what is wrong is what I'd ask you for. :)
Lyrics aren't ready yet, so vocals aren't recorded, but we're slowly getting to it. In the description at the soundcloud I posted what...
Hi there. Bought myself new audio interface lately, this track was created as a test of new gear, but I think it's pretty good piece of music, so I'm going to finish it. My mate will write lyrics and scream in some vocals. What do you think about it...
My headphones are quite good quality, they sounds well but when I plug them in iO2 they magically loss all the low freqs.
I'll ask for replacement. Thanks for your feedback. ;)
Hi. I recently bought new iO2 Express and I'm a little confused. Sound quality at phones out is MUCH LOWER than at main out. Is it normal or should I mail seller to send me a new one 'cos this one is broken?
Does anyone has this interface and could check this thing for me?
woah, harsh.
Can't really say anything. Riffs are fine, whole mix and sounding is also fine. Maybe high freqs hurt ears a bit, but it's detail. Track is just fine. Begining of solo got my attention, really fits to the rest. What guitar tuning?
Agree with Radiohead opinion.
Everything is too centered. Do some panning, especially with guitars. Stereoshaper at lead guitar maybe? Vocal sounds really nice, but it needs more stereo space. Kick stuff to the sides, let center for the vocal. About percussion - not rly volume issue. More like...
Vocals could be more distinct, guitars could sound little harder but these are just details. As was already said - sounds very good. I'm really impressed.
This organ is imo way too loud. It need equalization, maybe some littlee, pleasant reverb. Guitar could be more expressive, it just plays something in background.
Whole track sounds nice, but it needs some mixing.
Always, but only at phones out.
I have no lows on the headphones out on my interface. At main out everything sound perfect.
Using other interface my headphones sounds great, so it's clearly problem with Alesis phones out. I'll send it back to the seller and ask for another one.
Thanks for...
Philips SHP 8500. They sound decent, they aren't damaged.
I switched back to integrated card and DM1050 and it sounds great. Back to Alesis - no lows. I tested 3 pairs of headphones, problem occours with every pair.
It sounds like Alesis would have mounted EQ and was set to kill lows.
I recently bought myself Alesis iO2 Express. I installed it to my PC, set everything, recorded few tracks and i sound well, BUT. I found a huge problem with phones output. It produces practically no lows.
Earlier I used integrated audio card and a Numark DM1050 as a headphones amp and my...
I registered few minutes ago, so I wanted to say hi. My name is Jarek and I'm from Poland. In the begining I want to sorry for my english which is not my native language. I hope to learn something here. ;)
Cutting to the chase: I recently started recording a kind of metalcore stuff. I recorded...
