I have an Eventide H3000, with stereo ins and outs, and want to use it with my Tascam M-216, which has only one effects send. Any ideas on how to get stereo L) & R) from the Eventide into it? Thanks!!!

I have scraping sound when playing the Tascam 38...sounds like is coming from the right reel, which looks straight-not bent or broken. Do I just need a new take up reel???

Alan, I checked the output level and phase reverse switches and no problems. The red power light on the front of that channel also does not light up, but the phantom power light does light. Was hoping it was just a tube problem, but is not. Yes, I have loved my Bellari, too!

My 10 yr old Bellari preamp has just gone out on one channel....I checked the tube and it's fine. Is there anything else I can do before carting it off to repair??? Could there be an easy fix??? Have never had any problems with it prior to today. thanks.

I have a Tascam M-216 mixer and am recording to ADAT. How do I print effects to tape prior to mixdown? I am new to this mixer and need details of the effects processor routing.

Thanks everyone. Problem solved. It was the balanced/unbalanced cable issue. I was fooled by a balanced cable that DID work, but found out it was a custom wiring, so it looked identical to others, but wasn't. XLR to unbalanced 1/4 inch worked.

Am connecting this mixer and having problems. going out stereo xlr's to power amp's 1/4 ins, via female xlr to 1/4 in cable. two cables the same and only one will have signal. checked cables working fine. if i connect a mic cable with an adapter, works fine. but adaptor signal is louder...

Have just swtiched to using a Tascam M-216, and am head-scratching over connecting it to the monitor amp. Am coming out of the mixer through the XLR stereo outs, as in the diagram in the manual, to the 1/4 in. jacks in the monitor amp. Here's the problem/issue: the cords are XLR on one...

I want a different mixer, have been using a Mackie 1604 VLZ, have a very small budget, am way into analog. Want warmer sound, more spacious mixes. Any recommendations? old Tascams? thanks.
