I rented only the equipment and studio without engineer. Basicaly I know how to setup drums for recording. I was just wandering what do you guys think how to get best use of that equipment,like should I use Amek Neve 9098 on kick and snare or on overheads with U87?? Thanks for reply!

I have Protools and Digi 001 and as far as I know I can't control VST instruments when I work in Cubase with Digi 001. Do I need a second sound card instaled on my computer and connect my keyboard to it in order to do that?? I want to use Halion and play other VST instruments with my keyboard...
