I'm not sure if you already did this....but Cubase deosn't setup the in's/out's by itself. You need to define them....so if Cuibase does see the MOTU, just press F4(if you're on PC.....I'm not sure about the Mac) and that should bring up the VST Connections window up. If not, just goto Devices...
