I have never used a DAW but I think this is what im going for? What do ya think? I'm such a Noob and don't want to spend money on something i cant use in my set up.

My plan is to create the drum track, convert it into a wave file and import it to the BR900. The Boss website has a Driver i can DL for importing wav files so thats not a problem So i guess i would still need a DAW?

I play a Martin D-15. It was just under a 1000.00. I like the way it plays and the way it fits me. As others have said, Try em all in your price range and see what fits you.

My guess is you would import the drum track to the BR900, record it on say track one, then record other instruments on top of that. I am in the process of moving now but once i get everything set back up, I will post results.
