If I treat myself to a shure 55sh would I be able to connect it to my ferrograph 631 for recording in other words can I attach a 6.3 jack plug to the lead. Jim.

I have a uher 4000 reporter l, and it works fine, but i only has one speed. There is a plate over the gearshift reccess that allows an upward movement for off and a downward movement for this one speed. Is there anyway I can restore all speeds. Jim

I have a ferrograph 631 and it records perfectly but when I rewind the tape and switch to playback no sound comes through the speakers, but if I run off the tape and then thread it through again it plays perfectly. something must be sticking between rewind and play anyone any ideas what. Jim
