I was wondering how the rest of you handle this. I have an audio interface (FireStudio) that i use for recording. I would like to be able to play youtube videos, mp3's, etc. from my pc - im not sure how to do this since i had to disable my internal sound device.
So, how would you go about...
My studio is almost set up but i still have noise that comes from my laptop through the monitor speakers when my laptop power supply is plugged in.

Im about to purchase some new gear to record with. I need to record vocal and accoustic so i was gonna try a 3 mic approach.

Hello, im a total newb to the recording scene, but i have been trying like heck to get a good recording. Im pretty convinced my lack of knowledge is my issue, so im hoping someone can give me some good advice here.
