You don't really need Izotope Ozone to achieve good mastering. Just grab an EQ, compressor, and a limiter (aka maximizer) added with some knowledge you can master a song. Also, removing muddiness from vocal is done in mixing stage not mastering.

Here is the finished track: recorded, mixed, and mastered all in the box with Beyerdynamic DT880 Pro headphone and really crappy Logitech speakers. My only gripe with this track is the strings at the bridge... I gotta find me some decent string VST. https://soundcloud.com/user2802180/ex11

Everything you are hearing is in the box, there are no miced instruments. Due to my voice going out on me, I played the vocal line with a guitar. Also, please excuse my poor playing, I can't seem to sync up the tracks while recording due to the latency. I think I need a better PC. EDIT...

I see, huminizing the drums... I guess I overlooked on that since I was so busy auditioning (100's of individual kits!!!) and mixing the kit. The guitar was originally very warm sounding (placed the virtual ribbon mic probably halfway in between the center and edge) but I used low shelves around...

Thank you, I agree that the kick does sound a little bit clicky with fresh listen. Also, I forgot to mention that the rhythm guitar is on the left and lead guitar is on the right. The vocal track is recorded with guitar as temporary holder, which is panned at the center.
