During the intro, the drums are panned hard right, guitar hard left, but in the left there's also a tambourine...sounds great to me. Is this common? I can't remember ever hearing something like this.

Is there any difference between the new ones and the ones made 20 years ago? I found a used one for $2400 from 2005 that's in EX condition. Any differences? Thanks.

How do you do this if recording an album at home? It seems like every track I have is at a different volume. I guess this is what mastering does, so do I need mastering software to do this correctly?

Hey guys. I see the music sites want -14 LUFS. What if the ending of a song is naturally louder and goes to -12 LUFS? Will it be compressed by the music site? Are you better off setting the earlier, quieter section at -16 LUFS to compensate? Thanks!
