Admitedly this bloke has some talent, serious talent, but in a punch up, I'd edge it ;) Well Mr Garcia, I made multiple comments on your music, how about you return the favour?

    jessie returns

Due to me using electronic drums, I prefer to mix and master a song completely before adding them. I'd record drums first if they were live. I was basically checking with more experienced people that I hadn't made any glaring mistakes before I classed it as finished. Jessie, I'm glad you...

Please Comment on Mix and Production

It sounds thin. The guitar could do with standing out more, perhaps more treble....It does sound like when you're at a fgig at a massive venue and pop to the toilet, you get that weird distant sound. Try and bring things up to the front. I like the guitar solo. :) Hope that helps...

And cheers Mook, you've hit the nail on the head.... How do I stop the guitars sounding Muddy, although I do want the bass to.....??? EQ pros any suggestions (PS I use CEP)

    jessie returns

Cheers, I actually aimed for a dirty muddy bass, so the kick drum would really shine, maybe I'll add a bit more treble to it? Where you say a good non-reverbed guitar, how'd you mean? Playing rhythm? lead? 1:34, I was thinking about adding strings to the second verse, but low in the mix...

It's being done by me for me, and I want comments on the EQ and over all sound, as opposed to anything else, I want things I can fix before I add drums.

    your honest opinion please

Tune the toms before recording them, tighten the snare, and check the mic placement. I like the timbre and tone of the vocalist. Also, get the drummer to play to a click. He's sloppy at times. Was this done live/together? Maybe drop a little reverb off the vocalist and sharpen it a little. From...

Cheers, I'll play something neat soon, and let you have a listen! I do like Stabbing Westwood, but the aim of this song was simply to do something different (I wrote it when I was 16) Oh and it's a Korg stomp box ;) Thanks again!

First Recording Project, Feedback Appreciated! (Rock)

I really like it. I dislike the piano strongly, and strongly doubt it's a first time home recording. Infact I'd place my bollocks on that NOT being the case. However, it's still a good, well written song, if you exclude the random a tonal piano. Good job.

F@%king your face my lastest and greatest

And so did your mom. All night long. I'm not gonna procrastinate, I'll just say your a wanker and let you and your boyfriend get back to your prostate pounding! Trust me when I say it's a lot more productive than you writing "music". Go back to your shanty. Fucking grammar king.
