I really appreciate the help! In the M-audio Control panel, in the patchbay, I have the HW Out 11/2 set to WAV Out 1/2. Under HW Out 3/4, I have HW In 1/2. In CW Audio Options, I have the Playback Wave Device set to :1.M-audio 44 multi 1/2 - and the Record Wave Device set to 4. M-aud Delta 44...

Update: I've managed to record and playback in CW. The signal is very noisy, with a sort of fluttering sound. WTF is that?

OK- I've got signal and can record in Cakewalk, but cannot hear the playback. I've got the #'s 1 & 2 output from the Delta going into a stereo receiver. I know this is probably a simple routing problem, but I staill can't get any playback!

I've got a strong signal on the pre, so I think it's the Delta. This is frustrating!

I own both the C3000 (Not the "B") and the C1. Many people talk about how the 3000 is a POS, brittle - harsh, etc. I have gotten some great tracks with it, through both a Dbx286 pre and a S.P. VTB-1 pre. Plus, it's built like a little tank. The only gripe I have is buying it several months...
