Little Wing 1979 with a Roland SH3 making the wind noise in the intro

Yup Macias, the guitarist was the youngest at 20, I was the old man at 26 and the rest of the members were in between but closer to my age than the Mac...The salad days indeed.

    SM57 on a Martin D35

Surely they do...for Shure :laughings: Here Each grille design places the diaphragm of each microphone in a different acoustical environment. The distance from the top of the grille to the diaphragm is shorter on the SM57 compared to that of the SM58, which allows for a more pronounced...

Just an addendum to previous suggestions to posting mp3's or images here. I just drag mine from the folder into the post with the cursor and then click insert. SM57 on a Martin D35

As I understand it to be, The 57 and 58 have the same capsule so the difference is the screen piece with the 58 more omni than the 57 which I wouldn't say is completely unidirectional but more so than the 58..I suspect you can get a great recording with either with experimentation.

I have written lyrics for years, but I do not compose music

We take ourselves WAY to seriously and give ourselves too much credit. Though we can expound on how we and all of this thing we call life came to be till the cows come home, in the end we are truly clueless and always will be. First off what I call the gifts. Life being the first gift...then...
