It definitely suits the piece better - I think it’s a little too much in the beginning part - not quite as etherial as I would like - but I don’t know - I listen to it a couple of times and it kind of grows on me - one thing is the echo’d parts are to loud to me.

What did you use for drum samples? EZ Drummer? Superior? I use EZ Drummer and others depending on what the song is.

Lowering the volume by using db instead of Automation is a bit more accurate than using the Auto function.

You can accomplish this by automating the mix - I noticed what you are talking about - the vocal goes underneath - BTW the tone and timbre of the vocals have a McCartney like Quality to them to me.

Dry Vocals were/are a thing - but its interesting because they aren’t really dry - but again not drenched in reverb.
