    Balanced/Unbalanced Monitor Inputs

You have to solder the low(pin #3), to the ground (pin #1) on the unbalanced side of the cable. It's really easy to do.

"wannbe" a song written by the 13 yearold engineer!

That was really pretty good, man. The recording is so, so. But I don't think it matters right now. Your arrangement was really impressive. Your lyrics were good, good topic. Just stick to it. I think you have an early start on a good thing.

    Could you critique this?

Yeah, I did hear the Dr. Dirty version, after I recorded that. I don't think he mentions anything about being on the rag though, he just uses Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" as his "comedic" vehicle. Thank you for listening. I accidently posted this on the wrong site, I didn't think anyone...

What do I have to do to...

1.Run an oscillator to one of the channels on your mixer. 2.Set the oscillator to 40Hz. 3. Put a gate on the oscillator channel, then key the gate with whatever channel the kick is on. 4. Then blend the two to your liking. Hope this helps.

    Phase problems and their corrections...

Phasing sounds your recording a tin can, and is usually a little lower in volume. Is there any reason you don't want to use the MP? If you want, you can make an out of phase mic cable by opening one end up and switching pins 2and 3, and as mentioned before, Make sure you label it! Look to...

I don't have any constuctive critisism to offer. I think it's a really good song. Everything about it was appealing. Great vox!. Great recording.

    Ibanez RG not staying tuned

The springs in the back retain memory. They like it where they're at. If you try to tune too much, they'll try to return to thier original tension. I have an Ibanez S series. Floyd Roses do suk. maybe someday, the manufacturers will caatch on to this.

    Which Ibanez guitar to get?

Have you considered just buying new pick-ups for your RG 320? It might be cheaper than upgrading? I've heard some great active pick-ups. I have an Ibanez S series. I love that thing. Have fun.

A heretical question about amp modelers

I agree with Blue Bear. When I play guitar, I'm also playing the amp. It's something of a signature for a guitar player. A lot of amp modelers I've heard sound alright but they just don't cut it for me. Although I thought VOXVENDOR got a pretty cool sound with his. Yeah, I think you can't beat...

    Analog Rules!!!

I wonder how much you'd have to pay to get a digital setup that is compariable to an ATR 60? I love having all the outboard gear that comes with an analog studio. How can you pass up all those beautiful LEDs'? My studio looks like a spaceship. And when I'm sitting at the console, flying fader...

Good point about the cost, but Shhhh.. That's the big secret. People getting rid of these "old, outdated " machines for next to nothing. Yes!

new guitar the search is over

I've had two nylon string epiphones. (one of them got broke in an argument.) Both of them were actually really good sounding. 200 bucks! I've also owned a Taylor, which was a great guitar. I wouldn't put the epiphone down though. There's nothing wrong with it for what it is.

    3 track acoustic tune

Awesome! Great guitar playing, and the lyrics were really goo. Was this recorded analog? Just curious. What was the brand name of the Octava mic? Anyway, good song.
