Not bumping the thread for any other reason than to say I bought the Event Studio Precision 8's yesterday and things are sounding great.... They are so big, however, that I'm having to reconfigure the entire room .. :D

One of the things I'm making room for, with my build, is future upgrades... I can always throw 2 gb more ram in there (or swap out what will be there for 8 gb), a quad core processor, raid arrays, storage abound, etc.. All without changine the motherboard.. :D If only my current machine were...

I'm going to ask a dumb question... If the internal clock only goes up 48khz, would I be able to push the conversion up to 96khz, presupposing I sent 96khz from a different source (big ben-like device) to the bnc connector and switched to "external"? :rolleyes: I'm dumb.. I know.. :p Not...
