I think the vocal is buried and still needs a bit of a bump. The narrative is too vital to not be intelligible. It's a shame to altogether lose that old radio type affect you had in the earlier version. Just an idea.....Maybe use it in one part of the song. I'd suggest the last verse. "Alarmed"...
